A conclusione della stagione sportiva, riteniamo doveroso tracciare un bilancio lucido e complessivo del percorso compiuto dalla Pro Vercelli in questi mesi.
Quello appena concluso è stato, a tutti gli effetti, il nostro “Anno Zero”. Un anno iniziato dopo un passaggio di Proprietà complesso e in una situazione resa particolarmente delicata dalle difficoltà ereditate dalla precedente gestione. Prima ancora di poter guardare al futuro, è stato necessario ristabilire stabilità, organizzazione e credibilità, creando le basi sulle quali costruire un progetto solido e sostenibile.
Quando siamo arrivati, abbiamo detto con chiarezza che l'obiettivo principale era vivere una stagione dignitosa. Una stagione nella quale consolidare il Club, dare stabilità alla squadra, costruire un metodo di lavoro e gettare basi solide per il futuro. Da questo punto di vista, l'obiettivo è stato raggiunto.
È stato un anno intenso, durante il quale abbiamo dovuto affrontare numerose sfide contemporaneamente: la gestione quotidiana della prima squadra, il rafforzamento dell'organizzazione interna, il miglioramento delle strutture, il consolidamento del rapporto con il territorio, la crescita dei giovani e la necessità di coniugare sostenibilità economica ed ambizione sportiva.
Nel corso del campionato ci sono stati momenti in cui abbiamo iniziato a credere che fosse possibile spingerci anche oltre. La zona playoff è stata a lungo alla nostra portata e, come abbiamo detto più volte, avevamo il dovere morale di provarci fino in fondo. Non era l'obiettivo fissato a inizio stagione, ma sarebbe stato il giusto riconoscimento per il lavoro svolto da calciatori, staff tecnico, dirigenti, collaboratori, dipendenti e proprietà.
Non aver raggiunto quel traguardo lascia inevitabilmente un pizzico di rammarico. Quando si intravede una possibilità è giusto inseguirla fino all'ultimo. Allo stesso tempo, questo non deve farci perdere di vista il valore del percorso compiuto. Se una squadra costruita per consolidarsi ha potuto guardare con ambizione anche alle posizioni di vertice, significa che qualcosa di importante è stato costruito. La direzione intrapresa è quella giusta, pur sapendo che serviranno ancora lavoro, pazienza e continuità per rendere la nostra Pro Vercelli sempre più competitiva.
Fin dal nostro arrivo abbiamo voluto costruire un modello fondato su tre principi: serietà gestionale, sostenibilità e crescita progressiva. Non siamo interessati ai proclami, ma ai fatti. Vogliamo costruire una società moderna, credibile e strutturata, capace di rispettare i propri impegni, programmare con equilibrio e creare valore nel lungo periodo.
In questi mesi abbiamo affrontato anche situazioni complesse ereditate dal passato, sempre con senso di responsabilità e con l'obiettivo di tutelare il Club, rispettandone la storia, le normative e gli obblighi.
Parallelamente abbiamo investito anche fuori dal campo. Abbiamo migliorato l'organizzazione interna, rafforzato gli strumenti di lavoro e creato condizioni sempre migliori per consentire a calciatori e staff di esprimersi al massimo. La nuova palestra, i nuovi materiali, il primo fan shop nella storia della Pro Vercelli, le iniziative sociali, la cura degli ambienti di lavoro e il dialogo costante con le istituzioni rappresentano passi concreti nella direzione che vogliamo seguire.
Un'importanza fondamentale ha avuto, e continuerà ad avere, il rapporto con la città. La Pro Vercelli appartiene alla sua storia, ai suoi tifosi e al suo territorio. Abbiamo cercato di rafforzare questo legame, perché siamo convinti che il Club possa crescere soltanto insieme alla propria comunità. Continueremo quindi a lavorare affinché la Pro Vercelli sia sempre più vicina ai cittadini, alle famiglie, ai giovani, alle imprese e a tutte le realtà che rappresentano il nostro territorio.
Sul piano tecnico abbiamo visto tanti ragazzi crescere. Alcuni calciatori hanno compiuto passi avanti importanti non solo sotto il profilo sportivo, ma anche umano, dimostrando personalità, maturità e senso di responsabilità. Questo è esattamente il tipo di crescita che vogliamo favorire.
I numeri confermano la validità del nostro progetto. La Pro Vercelli ha concluso la stagione con il più alto minutaggio di giovani di tutta la Serie C, un risultato che testimonia concretamente la nostra volontà di dare fiducia al talento soprattutto italiano, valorizzare i giovani e creare valore attraverso il lavoro sul campo. Questa filosofia ha già prodotto risultati tangibili. La recente cessione a titolo definitivo di Asane Sow al FC Basilea, in Super League svizzera, rappresenta il trasferimento più importante della storia della Pro Vercelli nell'era della Serie C e il più significativo mai realizzato dal Club per un calciatore cresciuto nel nostro settore giovanile. È la dimostrazione che investire nello sviluppo dei giovani significa creare contemporaneamente valore sportivo ed economico. Continueremo a seguire questa strada con convinzione.
Il settore giovanile continuerà infatti ad essere uno dei pilastri del nostro progetto. Crediamo fortemente nella formazione dei ragazzi e nella necessità di creare un percorso chiaro e strutturato tra attività di base, settore agonistico e prima squadra. Il lavoro sarà graduale, ma la direzione è ben definita: bisogna migliorare l'organizzazione, rafforzare la metodologia, elevare la qualità della formazione e fare del nostro vivaio un elemento sempre più centrale dell'identità della Pro Vercelli.
Desideriamo ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno contribuito a questa stagione. I calciatori, per l'impegno e la professionalità dimostrati ogni giorno. Lo staff tecnico e tutti i collaboratori, che spesso lavorano lontano dai riflettori ma svolgono un ruolo fondamentale. I dipendenti del Club, per la dedizione con cui portano avanti il proprio lavoro.
Un ringraziamento speciale va ai nostri tifosi. A chi ci ha sostenuto in casa e in trasferta, a chi ha gioito con noi, a chi ha sofferto e anche a chi ci ha criticato in modo costruttivo. La Pro Vercelli ha bisogno della propria gente. Ha bisogno della vostra passione, del vostro entusiasmo e della vostra vicinanza. Insieme possiamo costruire qualcosa di importante.
Questa stagione si chiude con una certezza: le fondamenta sono state gettate. Ora è il momento di consolidarle, correggere ciò che non ha funzionato, migliorare dove necessario e affrontare la prossima stagione con ancora maggiore determinazione.
La nuova stagione è già iniziata dietro le quinte, con una programmazione approfondita e con un nuovo ciclo tecnico che siamo convinti ci permetterà di continuare il percorso di crescita intrapreso. La affrontiamo con idee chiare, grande senso di responsabilità e con un'unica ambizione: rendere la Pro Vercelli ogni anno più forte, più solida e più competitiva, nel pieno rispetto della sua gloriosa storia.

As the sporting season comes to a close, we believe it is important to take a clear and comprehensive look back at the journey Pro Vercelli has undertaken over the past months.
The season that has just concluded has, in every respect, been our "Year Zero." It began following a complex change of ownership and in a situation made particularly challenging by the difficulties inherited from the previous management. Before we could even look towards the future, it was necessary to restore stability, organization and credibility, laying the foundations on which to build a solid and sustainable project.
When we arrived, we made it clear that our primary objective was to deliver a respectable season. A season in which we could consolidate the Club, bring stability to the team, establish a working methodology and lay solid foundations for the future. From this perspective, we have achieved our objective.
It has been an intense year, during which we had to tackle numerous challenges simultaneously: the day-to-day management of the first team, strengthening the Club's internal organization, improving our infrastructure, reinforcing our relationship with the local community, developing young players and balancing sporting ambition with financial sustainability.
Throughout the season there were moments when we began to believe that we could push even further. The playoff places remained within reach for a long time and, as we have said on several occasions, we had a moral duty to pursue that opportunity until the very end. It was never our objective at the beginning of the season, but it would have been a fitting reward for the tremendous work carried out by our players, coaching staff, management, employees, collaborators and ownership.
Missing out on that goal inevitably leaves a sense of disappointment. When an opportunity presents itself, it is only right to chase it until the very end. At the same time, this should not overshadow the value of everything that has been accomplished. If a team built with the objective of consolidation was able to compete for positions at the top of the table, it means that something meaningful has been created. We are convinced that the direction we have taken is the right one, while fully aware that further hard work, patience and consistency will be required to make Pro Vercelli increasingly competitive.
From the very beginning, we have sought to build a model based on three core principles: sound management, sustainability and progressive growth. We are not interested in making empty promises; we believe in actions. Our ambition is to build a modern, credible and well-structured club, capable of honouring its commitments, planning responsibly and creating long-term value.
During these months, we have also dealt with complex situations inherited from the past, always with a strong sense of responsibility and with the objective of protecting the Club while respecting its history, its obligations and the applicable regulations.
At the same time, we have invested significantly off the pitch. We have strengthened our internal organization, improved our working tools and created better conditions for players and staff to perform at their best. The new gym, new equipment, the first fan shop in Pro Vercelli's history, our community initiatives, improvements to the working environment and our constant dialogue with local institutions are all tangible examples of the direction we have chosen to follow.
Our relationship with the city has been, and will continue to be, of fundamental importance. Pro Vercelli belongs to its history, its supporters and its community. We have worked to strengthen this bond because we firmly believe that the Club can only grow together with the people it represents. We will therefore continue working to ensure that Pro Vercelli becomes ever closer to its citizens, families, young people, businesses and all those who make up our local community.
From a sporting perspective, we have seen many young players develop significantly. Several players have made remarkable progress not only on the pitch, but also as individuals, demonstrating maturity, personality and a greater sense of responsibility. This is precisely the type of development we want to foster.
The numbers confirm the strength of our project. Pro Vercelli finished the season with the highest number of minutes played by young players across the entire Serie C, a clear demonstration of our commitment to trusting young talent, developing players and creating value through our work on the pitch. This philosophy has already produced tangible results. The recent permanent transfer of Asane Sow to FC Basel in the Swiss Super League represents the largest transfer in Pro Vercelli's Serie C era and the most significant transfer ever completed by the Club for a player developed in our own academy. It is clear evidence that investing in youth development creates both sporting and financial value. We will continue to pursue this path with conviction.
Our youth academy will continue to be one of the pillars of our project. We strongly believe in the education and development of young players and in creating a clear and structured pathway from grassroots football through the academy and into the first team. This work will take time, but our direction is clear: improve our organization, strengthen our methodology, raise the quality of player development and make our academy an increasingly central part of Pro Vercelli's identity.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this season. Our players, for their commitment and professionalism every single day. Our coaching staff and all those working behind the scenes, often away from the spotlight but playing an essential role in the life of the Club. Our employees, whose dedication keeps the Club moving forward every day.
A special thank you goes to our supporters. To those who stood by us both home and away, those who celebrated with us, those who suffered alongside us and even those who criticised us constructively. Pro Vercelli needs its people. It needs your passion, your enthusiasm and your support. Together, we can build something truly special.
This season ends with one certainty: the foundations have been laid. Now it is time to build upon them, correct what did not work, improve where necessary and approach next season with even greater determination.
The new season has already begun behind the scenes, with detailed planning and a new technical cycle that we are convinced will allow us to continue the growth path we have started. We approach it with clear ideas, a strong sense of responsibility and one single ambition: to make Pro Vercelli stronger, more solid and more competitive every year, while fully respecting the glorious history of this Club.
