F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 comunica che, in continuità con il programma di preparazione precampionato e in vista del prossimo impegno di Coppa Italia, venerdì 7 agosto, presso lo Stadio “Silvio Piola”, si disputerà la gara amichevole tra Pro Vercelli e Saluzzo.
L’incontro si svolgerà a porte chiuse, in considerazione degli interventi strutturali di carattere straordinario attualmente in corso presso l’impianto, resisi necessari a seguito dei rilievi formulati dalle Autorità competenti e finalizzati a consentire allo Stadio “Silvio Piola” di essere regolarmente disponibile in vista delle prossime gare ufficiali.
Come già rappresentato in occasione dell’annullamento della gara amichevole contro il Milan Futuro, F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 avrebbe fortemente desiderato non disputare alcun incontro casalingo in assenza dei propri sostenitori.
La presenza del pubblico costituisce un elemento essenziale e imprescindibile della vita della Società, nonché un sostegno fondamentale per la squadra.
Al contempo, alla luce delle esigenze tecniche e sportive connesse alla preparazione della nuova stagione, la Società ha ritenuto necessario consentire alla Prima Squadra di proseguire il proprio percorso di avvicinamento alle competizioni ufficiali anche attraverso la disputa di un incontro amichevole sul terreno di gioco del “Piola”.
Tale esigenza assume particolare rilevanza in considerazione del fatto che le prime due gare ufficiali della stagione saranno disputate proprio in casa. La decisione di disputare l’amichevole a porte chiuse è stata dunque assunta esclusivamente in ragione delle esigenze sportive della Prima Squadra.
Si tratta di una soluzione temporanea, non dipendente dalla volontà del Club, adottata nel rispetto delle indicazioni ricevute e in coerenza con il senso di responsabilità che F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 nutre nei confronti dei propri sostenitori, della comunità vercellese e di tutte le Amministrazioni coinvolte.
La Società desidera, inoltre, rassicurare pienamente i propri tifosi in merito all’andamento dei lavori. Gli interventi stanno procedendo regolarmente, secondo modalità e tempistiche totalmente in linea con quanto programmato.
Allo stato attuale, pertanto, non sussiste alcuna criticità in vista delle prossime gare ufficiali, in occasione delle quali lo Stadio “Silvio Piola” potrà accogliere regolarmente i propri tifosi.
F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 comprende il dispiacere e il disagio che l’impossibilità di assistere alla gara potrà arrecare ai propri tifosi e si scusa ancora una volta per una situazione non dipendente dalla volontà del Club.
La Società ringrazia tutti i sostenitori per la comprensione, la pazienza, la vicinanza e il costante affetto dimostrato, con la certezza che l’attuale sacrificio consentirà di garantire il regolare svolgimento delle prossime partite ufficiali e di tornare ad accogliere il pubblico vercellese sugli spalti del proprio Stadio.

F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 announces that, as part of its ongoing pre-season preparation programme and ahead of the upcoming Coppa Italia fixture, a friendly match between Pro Vercelli and Saluzzo will be played on Friday, 7 August, at the “Silvio Piola” Stadium.
The match will be played behind closed doors due to the extraordinary structural works currently being carried out at the venue. These works became necessary following inspections and observations made by the relevant authorities and are intended to ensure that the “Silvio Piola” Stadium will be fully available for the upcoming official fixtures.
As already stated when the friendly match against Milan Futuro was cancelled, F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 would have strongly preferred not to play any home fixture without its supporters in attendance.
The presence of the fans is an essential and indispensable part of the Club’s life, as well as a fundamental source of support for the team.
At the same time, in light of the technical and sporting requirements linked to preparations for the new season, the Club considered it necessary to allow the First Team to continue its build-up towards the official competitions, including through the staging of a friendly match on the “Piola” pitch.
This need is particularly significant given that the first two official matches of the season will be played at home. The decision to hold the friendly behind closed doors was therefore taken solely in response to the sporting needs of the First Team.
This is a temporary solution, not dependent on the Club’s wishes, adopted in accordance with the instructions received and in keeping with the sense of responsibility that F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 feels towards its supporters, the Vercelli community and all the public authorities involved.
The Club also wishes to fully reassure its supporters regarding the progress of the works. The interventions are proceeding regularly, in a manner and within a timeframe entirely consistent with the planned schedule.
At present, therefore, there are no issues affecting the upcoming official fixtures, during which the “Silvio Piola” Stadium will be able to welcome its supporters as usual.
F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 understands the disappointment and inconvenience that the inability to attend the match may cause its supporters and once again apologises for a situation beyond the Club’s control.
The Club thanks all its supporters for their understanding, patience, closeness and continued affection, in the firm belief that this temporary sacrifice will ensure the smooth staging of the upcoming official matches and allow the Vercelli public to return to the stands of their stadium.
